The most common secondary glazing style, the sheer amount of flexibility possible with horizontal sliders is what gives them an edge. They conveniently allow easy access to the existing window thanks to panels that can be easily slid to the left or right. Available in configurations of up to five panels, they can span extremely wide dimensions, always maintaining traditional authenticity coupled with modern performance levels.

Extras
While the idea behind secondary glazing is for it to go unnoticed, there are several extras we can incorporate into our units while still maintaining this sentiment. Fly screens, for example, are a completely clear addition that allows properties to be easily ventilated, simultaneously preventing flies and bugs from getting in. Equally, units can be supplied in any desired shape with arches, helping you to accommodate even the most awkward of aperture sizes.

There are multiple glazing options, styles, and thicknesses possible with our range of horizontal secondary glazed units, each designed to enhance either safety & security, thermal efficiency or noise reduction. All secondary glazing comes pre-glazed with 4mm clear glass as standard, but available iterations include laminated, toughened, float, low-E, and more.
